Global Networking
EO is a chapter-driven organization run by our volunteer membership. Each chapter is supported by EO International which provides such services as: access to top speakers, marketing materials, extensive networking database, chapter development training, PR & media relations support, workshops and other educational programs that assist chapters in operating effectively and fostering a supportive environment for peer interaction. EO has more than 4,200 members in 100 chapters around the world in four regions: North America; Latin America/Caribbean; Europe and Asia Pacific. Networking, peer support and member-to-member interaction goes to the core of the EO experience, and takes place on every possible level within the organization – by chapter, by industry, by experiences, by region, by interests, etc.
Forum
Members have described Forum as their number one benefit of EO. This unique peer-sharing program, developed exclusively for EO, provides members with the opportunity to maximize the most valuable asset their local entrepreneur peers have to offer — wisdom gained from their own experiences. After participating in a training program designed to educate new members to the non-traditional communication methods and specialized protocols employed by EO Forum groups, interested members are placed in a group of up to 12 local peers that will meet on a monthly basis to confidentially discuss any and all issues that affect the life of a young entrepreneur. Topics could range from business strategies on compensation and hiring practices to appropriate insurance coverage and legal issues. Or, on a more personal note, group members could share ways to maintain or improve the balance between their work and personal lives. Three words describe this experience: sharing, caring and trust. Forum allows members not only to grow in their businesses, but in their personal experiences as well. Forum provides the support environment needed for each member to grow and to learn from each other. Key benefits to the member lie within the necessary structure of EO Forum — created to provide a safe environment for maximum interaction, open discussion and relationship-building with those who are truly considered “peers” in every sense of the word.
Inventory of Skills (IOS)
IOS is a highly confidential networking resource that exclusively serves the members of EO, Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), World Presidents' Organization (WPO) and Chief Executives' Organization (CEO). IOS inventories the collective knowledge and experience of all "O" members into a single accessible database. Members who need assistance with business, personal or medical problems contact IOS and are quickly connected with other members who have been through a similar experience. The comprehensive database covers thousands of business and personal issues from leukemia to leveraged buyouts. IOS contacts provide a unique combination of understanding and trust along with expert counsel. IOS has also formed strategic alliances with the world’s top-ranked hospitals supplying EO members immediate and preferential access to the best health care facilities available. From simple business questions to severe medical emergencies, when EOers need help, they call IOS.
EO Mentor Program
Learn from the legends of business! As an EO member, your world of contacts will escalate through the EO Mentor Program with the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO). Whether you’re launching a new product line, expanding your business to multiple cities, or trying to balance a 80-hour work-week with family needs, your WPO mentor can help guide you to that next level of success. Mentors are matched based on carefully crafted business and demographic profiles so that you are teamed with a true business ally and seasoned coach. The Mentor Program matches eager EO entrepreneurs with experienced WPO mentors in a mutually beneficial mentorship that seeks to develop the entrepreneur in business, personal growth and perspective. This program offers both YEO entrepreneurs and WPO mentors the opportunity to grow by sharing challenges, solutions and visions.
Social Innovators Program
YEO’s new Social Innovators Program provides a customized outlet for the many EO members who wish to “give back” and address pressing social problems in their local communities. Participating members receive personalized assistance to be matched with a nonprofit partner based upon the member's individual preferences (e.g. available grant dollars, volunteers and in-kind donations). Consultation is also provided by EO staff as to effective ideas for partnership and bringing the benefits of charitable work to the EO member’s business. The Social Innovators Program is designed to enrich members’ personal experiences while expanding their contributions to society.
